Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service – Aboriginal Corporation (TAMS-AC) is on the lookout for some deadly, creative slogans to promote safe sex and regular STI testing in our community. We want messages that sound like us, feel like us, and speak straight to our mob about keeping ourselves and each other strong and healthy ❤️💛🖤
Got a funny one? A powerful one? Something catchy? Send it through! You can pop your name on it or keep it anonymous — totally up to you. No shame here, just backing good health.

Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility
1.1 Entry is open to people aged 16 years and over who are living in Australia.
1.2 Staff, Directors, and contractors of TAMS-AC and their immediate family members may participate but are not eligible to win prizes.
1.3 By entering, you confirm you meet these eligibility requirements.
2. Competition Period
2.1 The competition opens 9am AEDT Monday 9 March 2026 and closes 5pm AEDT Friday 20 March 2026.
2.2 Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted.
3. How to Enter
3.1 Submit an original slogan promoting safe sex and regular STI testing to support the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community members.
3.2 Entrants may include their name on the slogan or remain anonymous.
3.3 Entry is free.
3.4 Entries must be submitted via the online form at: Yaama! Safe Sex & STI Testing Comp – Fill out form
3.5 Entrants may submit unlimited entries.
3.6 Anonymous entrants must provide a private method of contact to claim a prize if selected as a winner.
4. Entry Requirements
4.1 Entries must be original and created by the entrant.
4.2 All entries must be respectful and culturally safe.
4.3 Entries must not include personal health information about other individuals.
4.4 TAMS-AC may edit entries for length, clarity, presentation, or cultural safety when publishing.
4.5 Entries must be suitable for general audiences.
5. Nature of the Promotion
5.1 This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays nopart in determining winners.
5.2 Judging will occur in two stages:
- Stage 1: Three TAMS-AC staff members will shortlist entries
- Stage 2: All TAMS-AC staff and Board members may vote on the shortlisted entries.
5.3 The entry with the highest overall support will be selected as winners.
5.4 The judging process may incorporate an internal poll.
6. Judging Criteria
6.1 Entries will be judged on:
- Relevance to safe sex and STI testing
- Cultural safety and strengths-based messaging
- Creativity and originality
- Clarity and catchiness
6.2 The judges’ and final decision-makers’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Prizes
7.1 There are three prizes in total: 3 x $250 JB Hi-Fi vouchers.
7.2 Total prize pool value is $750.
7.3 Vouchers are subject to JB Hi-Fi’s own terms and conditions.
7.4 Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
8. Winner Notification and Prize Claim
8.1 Winners will be selected within 10 business days afterthe competition has closed.
8.2 Winners will be notified by email, phone, or direct message using thedetails provided.
8.3 Winners must claim their prize within 10 business days of being notified. If a prize is not claimed, TAMS-AC may award it to the next highest-rated entry.
8.4 Winners are required to sign for and receive their gift vouchers in person. Details on how to collect will be discussed with the winners.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Entrants retain ownership of their slogan.
9.2 By entering, entrants grant TAMS-AC a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, publish, communicate, adapt, and display the slogan for the purposes of:
- Community health promotion
- Education
- Social media
- Website and digital content
- Printed materials
- Merchandise
- Any other non-commercial community health messaging
9.3 Entrants confirm their submission does not infringe the rights of any third party.
10. Privacy
10.1 Personal information is collected for the sole purposeof running the competition.
10.2 Information is handled under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) andthe TAMS-AC Privacy Policy.
10.3 Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting: reception@tams.org.au
11. Cultural Safety
11.1 All entries must align with culturally safe, strengths-based messaging that supports the wellbeing of Aboriginal peoples.
11.2 TAMS-AC may seek advice from internal cultural advisors at any time duringthe judging process.
12. Disqualification
12.1 TAMS-AC may disqualify entries that are incomplete,unlawful, offensive, misleading, or in breach of these Terms.
12.2 TAMS-AC may remove or withdraw entries that infringe third-party rights.
13. Liability
13.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, TAMS-AC is notliable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in thecompetition.
13.2 TAMS-AC is not responsible for technical issues, outages, or delaysaffecting entry submission.
14. Social Media
14.1 This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed,administered by, or associated with any social media platform.
14.2 Entrants must comply with relevant platform community guidelines whenparticipating.
15. General
15.1 TAMS-AC may update, modify, suspend, or cancel thecompetition or its Terms if required due to circumstances beyond its control.
15.2 These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
15.3 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remainingprovisions continue to apply.
